Product Description

The Portable Nighttime Illumination System is designed for nighttime automotive active safety, ADAS and autonomous driving testing in controlled proving-ground environments. It is used to build repeatable nighttime road scenarios by simulating real environmental illumination conditions, supporting the evaluation of vehicle perception, target recognition, lane keeping, pedestrian detection, obstacle avoidance and collision warning functions under low-light conditions.

The system can reproduce lighting environments for different road classes and application areas, including residential streets, urban branch roads, urban main roads, arterial roads, highways, intersections and proving-ground night test scenarios. It supports standardized nighttime test requirements for C-NCAP and Euro NCAP, and can also be configured for customized intelligent vehicle safety evaluation scenarios.

Key Features

The system adopts a portable modular design for rapid deployment of nighttime test environments. Each lighting unit is equipped with wheel assemblies at the base, enabling easy movement, positioning and layout adjustment on proving grounds.

The lighting height is controlled by a pneumatic lifting mechanism, allowing convenient and stable height adjustment to meet different road lighting layouts and test requirements.

The system supports adjustable color temperature, brightness and brightness distribution, enabling flexible simulation of different nighttime illumination conditions, such as residential areas, urban main roads, suburban roads and highway lighting environments.

Battery-powered operation allows the system to be used without fixed power infrastructure, improving deployment flexibility for outdoor test sites.

Multiple lighting units can be networked through LoRa wireless communication, enabling centralized remote control from a PC. Operators can configure lighting parameters, switch lighting modes and synchronize multiple lamp groups according to the test scenario.

The system can be integrated with target carriers, towing systems, and other test equipment to create complete nighttime ADAS test scenarios involving pedestrian targets, bicyclist targets, vehicle targets, roadside facilities, and other dynamic or static targets.
