Product Description
The Construction-Zone Metal Barrier Target is designed for autonomous driving, lane-keeping assistance, road-edge recognition and ADAS-related function testing in controlled proving-ground environments. It represents a typical temporary metal barrier used in construction zones, work areas, road closures and lane-diversion scenarios.
The product provides a realistic and repeatable road safety facility surrogate for evaluating intelligent vehicle perception, obstacle recognition, path planning, lane-keeping response and collision avoidance performance. It meets the safety requirements for intelligent connected vehicle combined driver-assistance system testing. Other standard road safety facility targets can also be customized upon request.
Configuration
The target consists of:
- Sheet-metal wall panel
- Support frame
Key Features
The target dimensions are designed with reference to commonly used construction-zone safety facility specifications, providing representative visual and geometric characteristics for intelligent vehicle testing.
It supports multiple sensing solutions, including vision, millimeter-wave radar and LiDAR, enabling evaluation of roadside facility detection, construction-zone recognition, obstacle classification and road boundary perception.
The target adopts a flexible, vehicle-friendly design with no sharp structures, reducing the risk of damage to test vehicles during impact. It is suitable for repeated closed-course testing and can withstand impact speeds up to 100 km/h without damage.
The modular structure allows convenient deployment, relocation and combination with other road safety facility targets, such as water-filled barriers, crash barrels, traffic cones, guardrails and temporary lane-diversion targets, to build complex construction-zone test scenarios.
