PRIAUTO Expands Its ADAS Animal Target Portfolio with Standard and Customized Solutions for Global Markets

As ADAS and automated-driving test scenarios continue to expand, PRIAUTO is further developing its portfolio of physical animal targets for repeatable and controllable perception and collision-avoidance testing.
The current PRIAUTO animal target range covers dogs, deer-type animals, wildlife and livestock, supporting the development and validation of camera, millimeter-wave radar, LiDAR and multi-sensor perception systems.
Current products include:
- Large Dog Target – Chinese Native Dog;

A Growing Portfolio of Animal Targets
PRIAUTO animal targets are designed for ADAS, AEB and automated-driving perception development and can be used to reproduce different animal objects that may appear in real road environments.
Large Dog Target – Chinese Native Dog
Developed around the representative geometry of a medium-to-large dog commonly encountered in China and parts of Asia.
It can be used for camera, radar and multi-sensor dog-detection testing.
Large Dog Target – Labrador
Based on a typical large-dog body shape and silhouette, providing an additional target for evaluating perception and classification performance across different canine geometries.
Water Deer Target
Designed to reproduce a representative deer-type geometry for target detection, tracking and collision-risk evaluation.
Wild Boar Target
The Wild Boar Target reproduces the relatively low body profile and large torso typical of wild boars and can be applied to rural, forest, suburban and highway test scenarios.
Goat Target
Suitable for medium-size animal detection testing in mountainous, rural and grazing environments.
Sheep Target
Designed for animal detection and AEB testing in agricultural, pastoral and rural road scenarios.
Cow Target
A large livestock target intended for perception, classification, tracking and collision-avoidance testing involving large animals.
Together, these products allow users to build test scenarios covering animals of different sizes and body geometries.

The Moose Target is being developed to reproduce the characteristic high torso and long-leg geometry of this large animal.
It is intended to support ADAS and automated-driving testing in North America, Northern Europe and other markets where large deer species may be encountered.
Kangaroo Target
The Kangaroo Target reproduces a body structure and posture that are distinctly different from conventional four-legged animals.
The product is being developed primarily for animal-detection and collision-avoidance applications relevant to Australia and related markets.
Buffalo Target
The Buffalo Target represents a large livestock animal with distinctive body and head geometry.
It is intended for test applications in South Asia, Southeast Asia and other environments where large livestock may enter the roadway.
Horse Target
The Horse Target reproduces a relatively high body profile and distinctive leg structure and can support rural, pastoral and other large-animal road scenarios.
With the addition of these products, the PRIAUTO animal target portfolio will continue to expand into additional large-animal and region-specific applications.
